President’s message

Welcome to the Palm Beach County Music Teachers Association (PBCMTA) online community! PBCMTA is a local affiliate of the Florida State Music Teachers Association and the Music Teachers National Association. Founded in 1942, PBCMTA has grown to a large membership striving to promote high quality music education in our community.

Throughout the year we offer many performance and educational opportunities for our members and their students. Some include student scholarship competitions, music theory and performance assessments, non-competitive performances and more. As a member, we can take advantage of the benefits of the state and national levels and have a place to network and make lifelong friendships.

In this time of COVID please stay healthy and be encouraged that you are such an essential part of the welfare of all of these wonderful students in this time of need. Thank you for all you do and hopefully we can see each other soon.
